Orrefors Definition
Orrefors antiques were associated with a Swedish glass factory which was named after a town in Southeast Sweden called Orrefors. The factory was founded in 1898 to produce glassworks. The factory was well known for its engraved glass wares named Graal glass produced during 1920s which was a type of cameo glass. In 1930s, the factory also produced ravenna and kraka which is kind of heavy glass with enamelled colours.Orrefors manufactured crystal art glasses of high quality. Crystal stemware, crystal lighting products, barware, vases, and sculptures were examples of such artworks.
