The word papyrus is a material that is obtained from the pith of Mediterranean sedge which an aquatic plant also is known as paper plant and Egyptian paper rush. The material so obtained from the stems of the plant is used in papers or sheets to use it for painting and writing. These sheets may also be used in making ropes.
