The word parabola is a Greek word which means a mirror-symmetrical bend which is two dimensional. This can be easily depicted like a ‘U’ shaped structure. This is a curve that is obtained by joining a cone which right circular with a plane that lies parallel to the cone. Parabola can also be formed from locus of points that are equal in distance from a fixed line and a fixed point which is not on the line.
