Photography Definition
Photography is the process of taking and producing photographs. This is the process by which permanent images of objects are made on surfaces which are light sensitive. The first photographed image was developed in 1826 in France which was a view from a window. Later, in 1839, daguerreotype photographs gained popularity and was commercially successful. The 20th century photographs mostly taken by Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen are still preserved. The importance of album with photographs gained popularity long back during the Victorian times.
