Pirkenhammer is a ceramic manufacturing company started by Friedrich Holke and J.G. Lilst on 1802 at Czechoslovakia. The factory produced glassware which is ornamented with flowers and sceneries. The company also produced a kind of porcelain decorated by pressiong designs while it is soft and becomes visible when exposed to light. Such porcelains are called lithophanes.
