Razors Definition
Razors date back to Egyptian times when cleave shaven look was the fashion. The earlier razors were similar to hatchets. The razors became straight by 19th century and the handles had art work carved in them. The handles were made of tortoise shell, ivory, bone, wood and horn. The seven day razor set became popular in the same time. The Gillette safety razor introduced in 1904 was a turning point in the history of razors. The antique razors collected include Ace, A.S.Daas Co., Acme, Bank, Baker and Gillette.
