Red Wing is a pottery manufacturing company that was established in Minnesota in a place named Red Wing. It was started in 1878. The company produced potteries for domestic purposes as well as for decorative purpose. Stoneware jugs and canning jars were one of those. The significance of art pottery gained popularity during 1920s and the company produced art potteries during that time. Red Wing potteries also produced lamps, dinnerware and decorative vases.
