Remarque Definition
Remarque in print technology means, a rough sketch or model that is made by the artist to test his tools and skills in the margin of the plate before the final print is made. These Remarque can be deleted later and the final print always appear perfect with no faults and hitches. A print that consist of a Remarque is usually called a Remarque proof. In 19th century, Remarque became a part of ethnicity and prints with Remarque gained great significance.
