Silver-Romanian wares are hall marked per law at least form the earlier part of Nineteenth century. The first grade silver ware have 950/1000 silver content, the second grade have 800/1000, and the third grade have 750/1000 silver content. Sale of silver article below the prescribed standard is prohibited.
