Vasa Murrhina refers to the glassware with different colors and metallic flakes, made by Vasa Murrhina Artglass Company of Sandwich, Massachusetts. The coats of flakes were made with gold, copper, silver or nickel. The term Vasa Murrhina means ‘vessel of gems.’
