Watch Fobs Definition
Watch fob refers to the chain that is attached to a pocket watch and normally seen hanging from the pocket holding the watch. The term is also seen used to refer to the ornament that is found at the end of such chain or ribbon. In the ancient times, men did not wear wristwatches. Watches that were designed for men were pocket watches. Watch fobs were invented to easily access pocket watches that were held in pockets or waistcoats. We can see antique pieces of watch fobs made using different kinds of metals such as gold, silver, brass, nickel, and enamel.
