Capo Di Monte Definition

The Capo-di-Monte porcelain factory produced a type of porcelain known as Capo-di-Monte that was first made in Naples, Itlay, from 1743 to 1759. It later moved to Madrid, Spain where it reopened in 1771 and continued to produce porcelain till 1821. Thereafter, the Doccia factory of Italy acquired the molds and is using the crown and N mark. Societa Ceramica Richard is a modern-day firm often referred to as Ginori or Capo-di-Monte and it uses the crown and N mark.
