Censorship Definition
Censorship is the act of cleaning or expurgating. It is an examination process done with the object of removing obscene, sensitive, harmful, politically incorrect, or objectionable material from any work. To censor means to conduct such examination and remove such material. A person who does the examination is known as a Censor. Individuals, private organizations, or government may involve in censorship. Art censorship involves altering, silencing, or even erasing unacceptable contents to avoid religious, social, or political motivation.
