Chlorophyll Definition
Chlorophyll is the name of a green pigment in plants. Binh Danh, a Vietnamese photographer and artist, used a particular organic technique invented by him known as the chlorophyll print in suitable leaves to "capture his belief in the interconnectedness of the natural world." Chlorophyll printing is done to print images on leaves to create a striking art. Chlorophyll prints are taken by placing the negative of a photograph on a leaf that is used take the print. This is then exposed to the natural light of the sun over a period of time. As a result, the plant pigments darken to produce a ghostly portrait.
