Chronology means to arrange an event in sequential order or in the series in relation to time in which it occurred. In relation to art, it is used to refer a list, survey or exhibition in the aforesaid manner. Even though the narrative follows an easy logic, it can be oppressive. Another common alternative method used to refer events is thematic.
