Ckaw Definition
Ckaw or the Chelsea Keramic Art Works was a famous pottery company which was established in Chelsea in Massachusetts. The studio porter, Hugh C. Robertson along with his family members started the company in 1872. The company was well known for their antique collectibles that includes Pompeian bronzes and Grecian terra cotta. This factory winded up in 1889. After two years, it was reorganized as the Chelsea Pottery U.S. The company used CKAW and CPUS marks for the potteries that it produced. This company operated until 1895.
