Generally, the term ‘destruction’ refers to the process of destroying something. In the context of art, the term destruction refers to the opposite of creation. The destructive process seems not to be an artistic act instead, there cannot be a creation without a similar destruction. A deliberate or malicious destruction of an art work is contrary to art which is termed as Vandalism.
