Four Dimensional Definition
Four Dimensional is the addition of a dimension to the three other dimensions namely height, width and depth. In science the idea of time is attributed as fourth dimension. In the context of art, the term refers to the different perceptions in interacting with people and objects. Four Dimensional artworks were created by Cubists, Surrealists, Futurists and Abstract artists. Picasso's Portrait of Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler (1910) is an illustration of the concept. Crucifixion (Corpus Hypercubus) by Salvador Dali is another example.
