Glaze refers to a thin coating of minerals on bisque ware that has a smooth and shiny texture. Glaze may be transparent or colored coating. Glaze is applied by brushing, spraying or dipping. Thereafter, the bisque ware is fired which makes the surface smooth, shiny and waterproof.
