Morphing refers to the transformation of one image into another. The transformation made using computers is smooth and gradual. Corresponding sets of each image like eyes, ears and lips are selected and rearranged using intermediate images. The term morph also refers to metamorphosis, which refers to a gradual change of an organism from one thing to another. The most common example is the change of caterpillar into butterfly.
