Naturalism Definition
The term Naturalism refers to a style adopted by an artist in which the subjects are depicted just as they appear in the real world instead of depicting them in an artificial manner. In an artwork, it also refers to the treatment of colors, forms, space etc., just as they are seen in the nature. Apart from this, naturalism also refers to a school of painting and sculpture which advocates the accurate representation of subjects just as they appear in the real world.
