Pellicle is a layer of skin or a membrane that takes formation on paints especially oil paints when it gets dried. The layer so formed is so light and thin and can be loosened when stirred or mixed with water or oil. These are coatings that are formed on such thick paints when it comes in contact with air or moisture.
