Pigment Printing Definition
Pigment printing process is the cheapest printing process. It is printing technique which involves a photographic printing method and the images so produced are made from pigments that are entrenched in gelatine. The material used for such printing is pigment paper. This paper is layered with a combination of gelatine and pigment. The paper so produced is dipped in chromcarbonate solution to make it light resistant and is dried and photo-processed.
