Pronaos Definition
The word pronaos is taken from ancient Greek language which means From Ancient Greek vestibule of a church. Pronaos is a major element of Greek architecture. This is a part of a building especially Greek temples built during ancient times. It is that space that occupies in front of a cell or body of such temples are been called the pronaos. This can also be defined as an entrance or atrium of a church which is surrounded by porticos and side walls built in projecting form.
