A prism is a geometric figure that is three dimensional with ends of same shape and size. The ends of these prisms are also parallel to each other and each sides appear rectangular in shape. Prism is made of glass through which light may be allowed to pass in order to separate white light into a spectrum and also for reflecting beams of light.
