Suiseki refers to the miniature stones occurring naturally. In Japanese the term refers to the relationship between object and the viewer. It is also known as ‘viewing stones’ or ‘scholar’s rocks.’ The Suiseki is presented either with a wooden base or placed in a water proof tray. The popular Suiseki resemble water falls, islands and mountains.
