Teco Definition
The term Teco, used in the context of antiques refer to the mark on pottery made by the American Terra Cotta and Ceramic Company of Terra Cotta and Chicago. The commercial sale of Teco began in 1902 and continued till 1922. The products had different designs, colors and glazes. Teco derived from Te and co from terracotta. Teco art pottery included plant stands, vases and urns.
