Television Definition
Television, popularly known as TV, is a device that transmits and receives moving images along with sound. This telecommunication medium primarily consists of internal electronic circuits to receive and decode broadcast signals and a monitor to display the transmitted images. The term “television” is also used to imply a television set, television program, or television transmission. The first crude form of television was mechanical. Later, electronic television was developed. Soon, better versions of television evolved like color television, digital television and smart television. Earliest television displayed images in black-and-white. Then, the era of color television and later 3-D or three-dimension came into being. The earlier forms of television are highly valuable for their antique and vintage quality.
