The Jin dynasty was a Chinese dynasty and can be divided into the Western Jin and the Eastern Jin. The Western Jin dynasty was founded by Emperor Wu. Painting and sculpture was an important characteristic of this period. The Jin ceramics with animal or Buddhist figures on them were also popular.
