Cave Painting Definition
Cave paintings are pictures or paintings that are seen on the walls and ceilings of caves. Cave paintings of the prehistoric era, mostly depicted animals and hunting scenes. Paintings of human figures and strange signs were also seen. Paintings from this era have been discovered in the caves of France and Spain. A monochrome cave painting is a cave painting in which only one color is used for the painting. Generally, black color was used for monochrome cave paintings. Ploychrome cave paintings are paintings in which two or more colors are used.
