The term Chalkware is used to refer to figurines and other articles made of sculpted gypsum or plaster of Paris and paintedwith water colors and oil., Chalkware articles are fragile and may get damaged if not handle properly. These pieces that were seen since the late 18th to the beginning of the 20th centuries were comparatively inexpensive. Normally, different types of dolls, and figurines in shapes such as animals, birds, and fruits are seen. We can also see wall plaques and other decorative pieces made of chalkware.
