Chinese Art Definition
Chinese art is a visual art form that originated or is practiced in ancient or modern China by the Chinese artists. Chinese art is found connected to Chinese heritage and culture. The Chinese art in Taiwan, officially the Republic of China, and overseas Chinese also forms a part of Chinese art. The early Chinese art, ‘stone age art’ of 10,000 BC, mainly consisted of sculptures and pottery. Later, the art was classified by the series of ruling dynasties of the Chinese emperors.
