Creativity Definition
The word creativity comes from the Latin term 'creo' which means to make. In English language, the word 'create' appeared in the 14th century. The concept of creativity originated through Christianity with the biblical story of creation in Western culture. Creativity is a process by which something new or innovative is formed or made with generation of ideas or with inspiration. It is a power to produce something with originality, imagination, and expressive thoughts. One's creativity may be expressed through art forms like painting, sculpting, carving, music composition, literary works, inventions etc. Creativity is something which is closely related to divinity because it arises from one's own thoughts and enlightenments and so is regarded as divine.
