The art of placing an image on across is called the method of crucifixion. It is the religious symbol for many groups of Christians. For Catholics, crucifix is a powerful symbol that represents their belief that, Jesus died on the cross to regain humanity. But other Christians uses bare cross that emphasises the rebirth of Jesus. The crucifix consists of an upright post and a single crosspiece where it is believed that Christ’s arms were nailed. There may be a short nameplate written INRI.
