Image Processing is a means by which images are processed by processing signals. This is done by inputting any image or photograph into an image processing device to produce a set of characteristics related to that image. This techniques use two-dimensional images and is processed with the help of image processing devices which then alters or changes these images to its digital form. Image processing is usually done to change the properties of an image like size, colour and brightness. This technique can be generally related to digital image processing. There are also image processing techniques done with optical and analogue images.
