Indian Tree Definition
Indian Tree is a pattern that the Chinese used in their ceramic wares starting early nineteenth century. This design was created by Coal port China in 1801 which was regarded as one of the most popular designs. The pattern appeared in the form of a partial landscape with a crooked branch of a tree and fascinating flowers and leaves included in the design. This pattern was copied from the early Indian textile pattern. The main colours that made the design look colourful were green, blue, pink, and orange. Antique Indian tree dinnerware and pots are available in the antique market.
