Pendant may be a piece of jewellery or something ornamental that is hanged from another piece of jewellery or an object. This hanging may be a part of jewellery or any decorative things that appears hanging from another piece. Pendants are usually suspended downwards and can be seen in a chain or necklace and in earrings joined along with a stud. The term pendent is also used to refer to those ornamental lighting sets hanged downward from the ceiling of a building for decorative purposes.
