Hyperactive refers to a situation of being highly or excessively active. Hyperactive also refers to a condition exhibiting excessive physical activity which is sometimes linked with neurological or psychological causes. A person who suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder is said to be hyperactive.
