Hypermedia Definition
Hypermedia refers to compilation of files that exists in various digital media such as text, images, and audio and video recordings, that are associated using hyperlinks. It also refers to computer hardware and software that aids the users to use such text, graphic images, and audio and video recordings that can be accessed from anywhere. The World Wide Web is a primary example of Hypermedia. Usually, Hypermedia can be created through numerous ways. Adobe Flash, Adobe Director, and Macromedia Author ware are various multimedia development soft wares that can be used to produce stand-alone hypermedia applications.
