Piece mold is a mold made with different interlocking sections which is used for making several vessels or articles out of it. The clay put on such models can be easily removed in the exact shape of the mold without damage. They may be of clay or plaster. This is a model with which different vessels are moulded by pressing clay into the mold to get a desired shape for the vessel. This piece mold can also be used to produce bronze vessels by pouring molten bronze into it.
