Drape Mold Definition
Drape molds are molds or forms (usually of plaster) that is used to shape materials such as glass, clay, wax, etc. We can see molds made of wood, plastic, bisque clay, or other substances. Drape molds are divided into hump, slump, and press molds. In hump molds, the shaping is done by draping slabs of the material to be shaped over the mold/hump. On the other, in a slump mold, the material is slumped into the mold.
