Salon Des Ind or Salon des Indépendants is a Parisian annual art exhibition organized by the "Société des Artistes Indépendants" since 1884. The exhibition began as a reaction against the official Salon where entries were scrutinizes by the jury. The motto of Salon Des Ind is "ni jury, ni récompense" (no jury, no reward). In this exhibition, any artist could exhibit his/her art work without any scrutiny on the payment of an entry fee.
