Typography Definition
Typography is the art of arranging type to make the printed language legible and presentable. The appearance and pleasing visual effect to have the best readability of the matter is the aim. The various factors affecting readability are the type and design of typefaces, point size, line-spacing known as leading, letter spacing known as tracking, and adjusting spacing between characters known as kerning. Type design is a part of typography. However, not all type designers are typographers and not all typographers design types. In modern times, emoticons are used in film, televisions and online broadcasts.
