The term Blow Forming refers to a process in which the plastic is heated until stretchable or flexible, and then it is clamped and air is blown into it and then it expands like a balloon. In the context of art this process is used in forming or shaping acrylic sheet. The principle underlying this process of blow forming comes from the idea of glassblowing.
