Carlsbad is an imprinted mark which is widely used in China. Potteries with these marks were produced by various companies in Germany, Austria, and Bavaria. Biscuit jars, bowls, and plates were the most common products. The United States exported wide varieties of these products. The vast majority of the pieces accessible today were the one that were made post late 19th century.
