Paint is a liquid mixture or solution, generally of a ground pigment that is dispersed in a vehicle such as oil, resin, or gum. A binder is also included in the paint mixture to enable it adhere to itself and to the painting surface. They are different types of paint available in the market. For example, tempera, eggshell, satin, watercolor, oil paint, matt, silky sheens, semi-gloss, gouache, acrylic, latex, water-reducible, aluminum, and enamel. Paint is used for coloring and decorative purposes.  It also serves as a protective coating.
